Nelly is a broadcast and investigative journalist, trained in audience engagement, media campaigns and news product creation and management. Nelly is passionate about audience engagement and centring the voice of minorities through the free press in Africa. Her skills in project and product management and a 12 year career in journalism and investigating disinformation is invaluable to the team. A 2022 World Press Institute Fellow, and an alumnus of Radio Netherlands Training School (RNTC) and Dubawa, she studied innovations, campaigns, and business models for media. She serves as team lead for the Media Inlet project.
Rosakebia brings over eleven years of experience as a cultural mediator representing Peru in international events across twelve countries. He brings expertise in social innovation, activism, and creating positive impact. A Sakharov Fellow of the European Parliament and member of the Human Rights Actions Unit, His work in social innovation, social change, and activism makes him a valuable asset as Media Inlet aims to create a positive impact in the journalism-audience ecosystem.
Branislava Lovre, Senior Project Lead at Media-Inlet, is a media expert and journalist who embarked on her journalism journey at age 13. Working in diverse media environments—from public broadcasters to private networks and independent media—she has devoted her career to promoting media freedom and literacy. Her leadership in high-impact, international projects, including collaborations with the OSCE, Council of Europe, IREX, All Tech Is Human, and the European Commission, underscores her commitment to complex, transformative initiatives. As a co-founder, consultant, and trainer, Branislava is actively involved in shaping the ethical dimensions of AI in journalism. Her influential work ensures that technology serves to enhance, not compromise, journalistic integrity.
